Recent picks

How picks work

• Every pick costs 5 points and earns points based on the forecast when you make it: at a 50% chance, a pick earns 10 points if its alliance wins.
• Your points if correct are set when you make the pick. Each pick moves the forecast a little toward its alliance, so making many picks at once earns slightly fewer points for each one.
• If your pick is missed, the points you spent on it don't come back.
• Once you pick an alliance, you can add more picks to it but not pick the other alliance.
• Resolves on The Blue Alliance's result once it has stayed the same for 5 minutes.
• A tied qualification match returns the points for every pick.
• Picks open 24 hours before the match and close 5 minutes before it starts, or once the teams are on the field. Points for picks made after the match actually started are returned.
• The match time is Nexus's queuing estimate, so it follows how far behind the event is running.
• If the match is removed, its alliances change, or no result is posted, the match is cancelled and the points for every pick are returned.
• The forecast starts at 90% for Red.
